Heather Sisto Koontz focuses her practices primarily in the areas of family law and civil litigation. Heather joined Ethridge Quinn in 2020 after a judicial clerkship with the Honorable David W. Lease in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County. Heather is licensed to practice law in the State of Maryland and is a member of the Maryland Bar Association, Montgomery County Bar Association, the Bar Association for Frederick County, and the Women’s Bar Association.
Heather earned her bachelor’s degree from The Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she double majored in English Pre-Law and Criminology. Heather graduated summa cum laude in 2016. Heather received her Juris Doctor from The Pennsylvania State University. While attending law school, Heather became a certified counselor for people that have experienced the results of sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking. Additionally during law school, Heather interned for the Honorable Cheryl A. McCally in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County. Heather has also obtained a verified certificate of achievement in child protection from HarvardX.
Heather enjoys spending time with her husband and their two cats, traveling to visit family, socializing with close friends, and baking.
