Janna joined Ethridge Quinn after working for the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office for four years, where she handled a variety of misdemeanor crimes in the District and Circuit Courts before juries, with a special focus in domestic violence crime. Prior to working there, she completed a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Mary Beth McCormick in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County.
A longtime resident of Montgomery County, Maryland, Janna graduated from Damascus High School and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland College Park, where she graduated cum laude and received the Phillip Merrill Presidential Scholar Award for her academic achievements. Janna earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.
Janna is licensed to practice law in the State and Federal Courts of Maryland and in Washington, D.C. She is a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association, Montgomery County Women’s Bar Association, and Maryland State Bar Association. Janna participated in Montgomery County Inns of Court between 2017-2018, 2019-2020 and 2020-2021. In her free time, Janna enjoys being with her husband, daughter, dog and going on beach vacations with her extended family and friends.
