Stacey Steinmetz

Stacey brings a compassionate, honest and diligent approach to her interactions with clients who she represents primarily in criminal, juvenile and custody matters. After graduating with honors from the Georgetown University Law Center in 2000, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the American Criminal Law Review, Stacey joined a large law firm where she gained experience in general commercial litigation and employment law. After relocating to Maryland, motivated by the desire to be of service, Stacey joined the Maryland Office of the Public Defender for eight years where she represented indigent clients in cases including but not limited to assaults, sex offenses, driving under the influence and other incarcerable traffic offenses, property crimes and child in need of assistance matters. In her private practice, Stacey continued to handle criminal matters from murder charges to malicious destruction of property in adult and juvenile court, along with estate planning.  Stacey joined Ethridge Quinn Kemp Rowan and Hartinger in June 2023.

When not with her husband cheering on their children at sporting events, comedy shows and concerts, Stacey spends time reading, volunteering, and cooking for friends and family.
